The other day my sister-in-law M. likened us four gals to the women of Sex and the City. Which begs the question: is small-town Iowa really all that different from mid-town Manhattan? The answer, of course, is yes. Yes, it is. Nevertheless, I couldn't help but wonder - which of us would be Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha, and Miranda in our real-world version of SATC?- C

Hmmm... well, my two favorites are Charlotte and Carrie, but my guess is that it would be:
W: Samantha (VERY toned down, of course)
H: Charlotte (so NICE!)
C: Carrie
R: Miranda

Oh, heavens. Sorry to say, gals, I am not really a fan of the show. I would say we are the antithesis to SATC. Can I be Sydney Bristow (sp?) or Lorelei Gillmore instead?

Well, yeah, given a choice I'd rather be Sydney Bristow than Carrie Bradshaw too. But if it's a SatC mix-n-match I would say W is right on. Although C may be a toss-up between Charlotte (slightly prissy and hopelessly romantic) and Carrie (the shoes, of course)!
